Parking & Shuttle Routes

Park at Inspiration Point parking lot on Park Blvd and Presidents Way (old Navy hospital parking on east side of Balboa Park). The shuttle will pick up/drop off at the corner of the parking lot and pickup/drop off at the corner of 4th Ave and Laurel.  The shuttle runs approximately every 30 minutes between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

Do not park in the red areas shown below. If parking in the neighborhood, please note all parking regulations and meter times. 

There will be a bike parking area at the north festival entrance (bike parking at your own risk, ICSC is not responsible for theft or damage to bikes).  

Visit the Irish Festival at 6th and Laurel from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There are food booths, craft booths, beer selection, live entertainment, and a kids zone. Entry is free for guests under 21 and active-duty military with ID. Entry for adults 21+ is $10.

BALBOA PARK IS A NO SMOKING ZONE

The following streets will be posted with signs that read: “No Parking – Tow Away 4 AM”: Hawthorne, Ivy, Juniper, Kalmia, Laurel, Maple, Nutmeg, Olive, Palm, Quince, Redwood, Spruce, Thorn, and Upas between 4th and 6th Avenues; Balboa Drive and Quince; and 5th and 6th Avenues from Grape to Upas.

Please plan your route accordingly. Expect limited driveway access in these areas during the following times:

6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
5th and 6th Avenues between Grape St. and Upas St.
Balboa Drive
All cross streets between 5th and 6th Avenues: Hawthorne, Ivy, Juniper, Kalmia, Laurel, Maple, Nutmeg, Olive, Palm, Quince, Redwood, Spruce, Thorn, and Upas.
