Get ready to paint the town green! The San Diego St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Irish Festival returns to Balboa Park on Saturday, March 13, 2027, bringing a full day of music, culture, and community from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Sixth and Laurel.

This year, we honor the resilient Irish immigrants who helped build America’s infrastructure, establish essential public services, and shape our nation’s vibrant culture. Whether you’re Irish by blood or simply Irish at heart, join us as we celebrate the music, dance, and rich heritage that connect us all.
Event Highlights
- The St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 10:30 AM: Step off at 5th and Laurel to cheer on over 100 lively entries, including marching bands, military units, firefighters, law enforcement personnel, local businesses, and vibrant Irish community groups.
- The Irish Festival, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM: Immerse yourself in the celebration with delicious food, unique vendor booths, interactive displays, and live entertainment. It’s the ultimate place to gather with friends and show off your green!
