The Irish Congress of Southern California is thrilled to announce the 45th annual San Diego St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, themed “Sail the Green Wave,” taking place Saturday, March 13, 2027, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Sixth and Laurel in Balboa Park, rain or shine.

This year’s theme celebrates the deep maritime bond between San Diego and Ireland, from Sunset Cliffs to the Cliffs of Moher, honoring two cultures shaped by the sea. It is a tribute to the ways Irish traditions continue to ripple through San Diego life, from Irish Heritage nights at Petco Park to song-filled evenings in neighborhood pubs.
